Here is the full sequence, with realistic durations.

Stage 0 — Design & Naksha Pass (2–4 months)

  • Site measurement, soil test, concept and final drawings: 4–8 weeks with timely decisions.
  • Municipal naksha submission, 15-day public notice, corrections and approval: commonly 1–2 months.
  • Check: drawings match the ground reality, setbacks confirmed, structural design per NBC.
